Flinders MP telling Labor State Govt what to do in Bass. A bit rich!

So Greg Hunt wants State Labor to honor State Liberal promises while part of a Federal Government that has made a mockery of promises to Voters. That’s a special kind of blindness.

On the one hand I find it great that Federal MP and Minister for the Environment Greg Hunt has taken time out of his schedule to raise comment on a Phillip Island issue.

Basically he has told the new State Labor Government that they should honour an election commitment made by the recently un-elected i.e. former Liberal State Government.

On the other hand I find the whole situation ridiculous and I will tell you why in a moment…

First I would like to thank the Hon Member for not turning his press release into an advertisement for Brian Paynter – the elected on preferences, sought preselection elsewhere first, Member for Bass.  This is a pleasant change from the pre-election ‘Ministerial Press Release’ from Tim Bull which was basically an advertorial for Brian paid for by the people of Victoria.

Anyway, had the former Liberal State Government applied a concerted effort…
